Biography

The Family Tradition Band is one of Michigan's Premier Country Rock groups. Formed in 2015, FTB has been making their own lane in the local country music scene. The band lineup consists of a full 7 piece ensemble with true country elements, including fiddle, banjo and pedal steel guitar. Their new aged country driven sound, classic roots, blissful harmonies and rock solid rhythm section, gives them the tools to please any genre of music lover. Most of its members originate from the greater Metro Detroit area, and feature former national touring musicians, to ensure an epic concert experience every time. FTB takes pride in only the finest musicians playing real genuine music. With the recent release of their self titled EP, FTB will be taking their high-energy show on the road, and was featured as the direct support band for Scotty McCreary at the Armada Fair, The Oakridge Boys at the Clare County Fair, Colt Ford at the Lapeer Days Festival, as well as headlining many of their own shows. Family Tradition has also recently been featured on 99.5 WYCD's Showdown contest with Frank Williams Jr, performed on the FOX 2 Detroit morning news show and have written the original music for the Northern Michigan based hunting TV show "Top Ten Percent".
